This is a private viewing of the exterior and interior of the Church of the Ascension (Belokrinitsa Hierarchy of Old Believers) in Gervais, Oregon. Within the last year we have replaced all the copper domes with beautiful round gold domes (but I have not yet had an opportunity to take current photos). On the iconostasis, one can see that there are several "temporary" icons which do not fit into the spaces, and the top tier of icons is empty (see the first two photos on the kleros page); all of the missing icons have been completed within the last year, and most of the "temporary" icons have been returned to our parishioners' homes.
Remarks: Most of the interior photos were taken on a cleaning day, and so you might see some cleaning supplies in the photos. Also, the lights were not on, and most of the light was generated from the camera's flash.
Scattered throughout the church are many small square quilted cloths, called "podruchniki". In the Russian Old Rite tradition, we use a podruchik to keep our hands clean when making prostrations.
